Dr. Asa Carson
Dr. Asa Carson

Dr. Carson is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, and is a current member of Chicago Dental Society and American Dental Association. Dr. Carson believes it is important to create relationships and educate each patient, in order to provide an appropriate treatment plan and care. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, staying current with new dental technology, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Anne Solus Gaffney graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to graduate from Loyola University College of Dentistry. She is proud to have followed in her Mom and Dad’s footsteps, both of them dentists and had the extraordinary privilege of practicing with her Mom for 11 years. She is an avid animal lover, so much so that she’s expanded her practice to treat them. You may have seen a few of her patients when visiting Brookfield Zoo!
Dr. Anne is a member of the American Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Dr. George has a great passion to help her patients understand their Oral Health. She wants her Tinley Park, IL patients to feel relaxed and comfortable while they are at the office. Ultimately, her goal is to provide quality care to all her patients.

Dr. George is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. She strongly believes in education and staying current with the latest techniques and advancements in Dentistry. She also regularly attends continuing education courses.

In her free time, Dr. George loves to spend time with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Lucas Hooker grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to Baylor University for undergraduate where he received his degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Hooker went on to attend University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where he graduated top of his class and received awards recognizing his scholarship and compassion in interpersonal relationships.

Dr. Hooker is passionate about the work that he does and stays up to date with the latest in dentistry as an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Hooker treats all of his patients with a sense of kindness, compassion, and respect and prides himself in educating his patients about the importance of proper dental care and maintenance. It was simply amazing and such a welcoming experience. Victoria in front made my first time there so inviting and pleasant. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. All of the staff made me feel at ease and I really appreciated that because I was a little nervous going in. Genesis and Dr. Carson were very thorough and explained each procedure to me to let me know what was going to happen. I am so happy knowing that I have a dentist that truly cares. The best dental experience I’ve ever had! I was taken in within a couple of minutes from the time I arrived. The entire staff was so friendly and personable! The facility is immaculate and has modern equipment. The dentist was the cherry on top, Dr. Carson was so very warm and explained everything thoroughly ! He answered all my questions and was so gentle working on my teeth! I’m so glad I decided to go here, this is now our family dentist !

Very friendly office. Dr. Asa Carson was very attentive, answered all my questions and asked walked me through my X-rays.As a new patient, be prepared to take X-rays so they can create your profile.Small Opportunity area: Floss beneath permanent retainers. I have a metal bar on my lower row of teeth. This is the first time since having the bar (5+ years and 3 different dentists) where they didn’t floss below the bar. When I asked about it, the dentro hygienist informed me that the dentist had already removed all of the plaque during the cleaning so flossing beneath the bar was unnecessary. I personally disagree. It takes 30 extra seconds and is the extra diligence I expect with a professional cleaning. I can personally only floss the top of the bar but I know that’s me being lazy :)Regardless of this small opportunity area, it is a LOVELY dentist office! Me and my whole family will make it our primary provider of dental care.Highly recommend!

Dr. Carson, is the absolute best! He has terrific bedside manner! He is so patient, and really listens to you. He is great at giving you his best professional opinion without undermining your ideas/concerns. I came to see him originally for a veneer consult, he gave me a few options after listening to my areas of concern and never got pushy selling me just 1 option. I appreciated his feed back and we came up with a treatment plan. After getting my braces removed, I returned to see him for some minor tweaks. His office was so great and got me in quickly. The small changes he made, made such a huge difference! I am super happy, Dr. Carson definitely has a great eye! Very technical and precise. I will be returning back to him for all my general dental needs.

They deserve another 5 star review! Dr. Carson and the staff here are wonderful: kind, caring, and knowledgeable. They are excellent with nervous patients and explain everything clearly so there are no surprises. They also show you before and after photos to show what was done and why. The office is very clean and modern and they are extremely efficient and skilled with their tools. I'm having a lot of work done (had extensive bad work done as a kid and need some of it revised) and I appreciate that Dr. Carson made me feel empowered and competent, not like I somehow failed to care properly for my teeth. I would recommend this practice (and have already done so) without hesitation!

Best dentist ever, I’ve never met such nice and awesome staff. These staff are so caring towards their patients, they’re gentle with patients and know how to manage children as well. Another good thing about this dentist is that it’s so clean and very organized, I have a mild ocd so it bothers me a bit when things aren’t organized and clean but this dentist office is so pleasing to me. Dr Carson is the best dentist.

I had an excellent experience from the front desk receptionist to the dental hygienist and the doctor. There is a great deal of knowledge, detail, and a gentle manner in which the doctor conducts himself. In addition, they have some of the most advanced technology for their equipment, which my husband and I greatly appreciated.

Great experience! Was lucky enough to get a same day first time appointment for a cleaning. Did not wait much after filling the routine new patient forms on the provided tablet. The whole team was very friendly and the facility seems to be new, very clean and has nice equipment. My cleaning went super smooth and, to my pleasant surprise, with barely any discomfort. In an out in under 45 minutes which included new patient form filling, panoramic and bite wing X-rays, cleaning, checkup, and checkout.Highly recommend!

An absolute class act of dentistry displayed by this team. Went in for the first time and was surprised by how young everyone is. The doctor took his time to explain everything he was doing and pulled up my x-rays, pictures etc and walked through his thought process. Never been to a dentist who was so involved. 10/10 will be going again

Going to the Dentist has always been a nerving experience for me this was not the case and they were very helpful and they walked me through my treatment plan and I am very grateful.

It was a pleasure as soon as I walked through the door! Greeted by Viviana, then being accompanied by Siesha made me feel so comfortable! Dr. Luke was extremely informative, and made me feel just as comfortable! What a great environment! I would recommend any/ and everyone to visit this location!

The customer service was great! I was running late and the staff was friendly and spoke with the doctor to please make time to see me. The Lead Assistant Sye was professional, nice and accomodating. She was knowledgeable and deligently assisted the doctor when examining my teeth. The doctor explained my treatment plan in detail and was very professional. I recommend Smile Obsession in Tinley Park for a great experience and a great smile!

This was my first time going to smile obsession. However, it won’t be my last. The staff there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’m not one to get nervous going to the dentist, but I can assure those who are will more than likely feel very welcomed here. Making an appointment went smoothly, I didn’t think they’d be able to get my mom and I in as soon as they did. We had to check in when we got there which was easy. The place was spotless. It looked very professional and sleek. I loved the subtle touches of gold they had. Lastly, Dr. Luke was nothing short of amazing! While I knew my jaw would pop every so often, I never knew it was because I was grinding my teeth. I really appreciate him telling me what was going on and tell me they have treatment plans for it. Overall, Smile Obsession is amazing, and I’m truly happy I found them. Thank you for such an awesome visit!
