Formerly known as Naper Dental Center, our Naperville dental office provides high quality dental care in a welcoming family-friendly environment. Most recently, we also grew our practice by having Maplebrook Dental, the office of Dr. Elizabeth Escarria merge with Smile Obsession. We offer General, Family, Cosmetic, Preventative, and Emergency dental care services for all ages. A few of our services include dental veneers, teeth whitening, dental implants, metal braces and traditional orthodontics, Invisalign, extractions and root canals, and natural looking restorations. MEET OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Brittney Borga
Dr. Borga grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and studied at Marquette University in Milwaukee for both her undergraduate and dental school programs. Upon graduating, she practiced dentistry in Southeast Wisconsin for a few years before moving to Chicago with her husband. Dr. Borga continued her restorative dental skills working downtown in the Loop for over 8 years before joining the Smile Obsession team.
Dr. Borga lives downtown with her husband and their German Shepherd Dog and spends most of her time outside of work doing dog-related activities. She enjoys fantasy football, succulent plants, and anything involving animals.
Dr. Daniel Pagel, DMD, MA
Dr. Pagel grew up in the Chicago suburbs and received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. He then earned his dental degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago. While in dental school, Dr. Pagel was the President of the UIC chapters of both the American Student Dental Association and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Amer Shah
Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Amer Shah is dedicated to comprehensive, individualized care for his patients. After attending Loyola University in Chicago, he pursued his doctorate at the University of New England. He enjoys all kinds of procedures including preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Today, he is Invisalign certified, a proud member of Spear Education, and recently became certified in placing dental implants.
Dr. Shah has been married since 2020. When he is not in the office, some of his favorite hobbies include watching and playing football, basketball, tennis, and pickleball. Most of his free time is spent with his family and friends; he loves going to restaurants, playing board games, traveling, hiking in national parks, and is a BIG foodie.
Dr. Shah is ecstatic to serve the Naperville, IL community. He enjoys being hands-on to complete various tasks, interacting directly with people, and being able to put a big smile on everyone’s face. He takes great pride in creating a friendly, painless and relaxed environment for all his patients. He is committed to helping people in achieving the dental improvements they need for a happier and healthier life!
Dr. Regine Torres
Dr. Regine Torres grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI and received both her undergraduate and dental degrees from Marquette University, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to complete a residency at the University of Iowa and earned her Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Torres has advanced training in orthodontic techniques utilizing both traditional braces and clear aligners, orthognathic surgery integrated treatment, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), functional appliances, and soft tissue laser to help patients achieve an esthetic and functional smile.
Outside of the office, Dr. Torres loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and Yorkshire Terrier. She enjoys traveling, hiking, music, stand-up comedy, trying new restaurants, and movie nights.
Dr. Torres is honored to be a part of the Smile Obsession team, offering comprehensive orthodontic care to patients of all ages.

I have had dental fear for years which is why I had not seen a dentist in a while.
Dr. Escarria and her staff made me feel comfortable. She did the most gentle cleaning on me, I did not feel a thing! Also I have a bad gag reflex but her assistant Caroline did not make me gag once with the x rays. Over all a very pleasant experience. I will be returning and recommending to all my friends and family.
The dentists have been consistently wonderful. They see me and three boys. Each time they are as kind as the first time. They both have an exceptional bedside manner that eased my anxiety and reassured me I was in good hands. All of the staff and respectful and kind. The office is clean and conveniently located. They explain everything they are going to do and encourage you throughout the procedure. I highly recommend them.
The doctor was also wonderful in educating me about the necessary procedures.
Overall, great customer care by all team members!
